Celina Alvarez

Celina Alvarez is a local interdisciplinary artist!

Celina’s mission as an art teacher is to inspire, build self-confidence, and most of all have fun through the act of creating

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Ceramics from the University Of South Florida in Tampa.

After graduating she ventured into the world of art sales at Ocean Blue Galleries in downtown St. Petersburg where she later managed the space.

Celina is the owner of "Palmas De Luna" an art pop-up where you can cultivate genuine connection through creation. @palmasdeluna

She is currently working as a freelance art teacher of all ages for both group & private classes. With a year of art teaching experience working for summer camps and art after-school programs, and now with us at Miami School of the Arts, we are so excited to have her!!
