Music Education Fueled by Passion and Experience
I began my musical journey at 10 at the public music school of Esparreguera, singing in the choir and city theater plays.
At 12, embraced piano and guitar, leading to composing and developing original music.
Honed skills at Taller The Musics de Barcelona (17), completing an associate degree and exploring Jazz, Blues, and singer-songwriter genres.
At 19, the Singer-songwriter Exit Award was captured at The Radio-TV Catalan National competition, launching a music record contract, concerts, and promotions in the Catalan Countries.
My passion for teaching ignited at Aula de Música d'Abrera where I taught for 8 years, leading to ongoing instruction in Barcelona, Perpignan, Luxembourg, Magdeburg, and Miami.
Two albums with Picap followed by a transformative trip to Havana, igniting a new musical direction influenced by the city's vibrant rhythms.
New repertoire captivated Miami publishers, leading to a songwriting stint at Universal Music Publishing Group. Earned a BMI Award in 2004 and Telemundo Composer Of The Year, with "Cuidarte el Alma" (sung by Chanyanne) topping Billboard Hot Latin Tracks.
Sought further refinement at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, immersing in songwriting, voice technique, guitar, and bass for a year.
In 2010, I established Cant Creatiu de Barcelona, a Music Academy For Singing and Performances, guiding students in voice training, vocal recordings, and songwriting. Notable alumni include Henrio AKA Enric Verdaguer and Emetres AKA Andrea Trujillo.
Expertise extends beyond performance, with certifications in Protools 2M and Logic Pro, and compositions for commercials, TV documentaries, and indie films.
